The Good book has a lot to say regarding what makes things lovely in God’s sight. It covers all spaces of excellence as characterized in Webster’s word reference in this manner: “1. That quality or total of characteristics in a thing which gives joy to the faculties or pleasurably lifts up the psyche or soul; physical, moral, or profound perfection. 2. An excellent individual or thing, esp. an excellent lady. 3. A specific effortlessness, decoration, or greatness; anything wonderful; as the marvels of nature.” We would do useful for us and others to see the things that are lovely in God’s sight.
It is intriguing to take note of that “magnificence” isn’t found in the New Confirmation and that “lovely” is discovered just multiple times in it. “Excellent” is discovered multiple times and “excellence” is discovered multiple times in the Hebrew Scripture. “Delights” is found once and “decorate” is discovered multiple times in the Hebrew Scripture.
The Holy book alludes to a few ladies as being delightful. It cautions men not to permit the magnificence of a lady to lead them into two-faced exercises. The genuine magnificence of a lady isn’t outside, yet rather it is an inward delight that sparkles out of her wonderful soul of adoration and consideration. This sort of a lady could never really allure a man to submit infidelity or sex with her. She is urged to carry on with an existence of commitment to God and His methodologies. Such a lady won’t dress so as to be alluded to as being “attractive.” She won’t complement portions of her body to point out herself. No one but God can make something terrible delightful. He can take an individual that is lost and scattered and make that individual into a vessel of honor. How He does this is past our innate capacity. Since an individual is terrible lively now, doesn’t mean there is no expectation of truly being changed into something excellent. The Holy book and history authenticate this. The declarations of God’s recovering adoration and beauty are surrounding us.
In the Melody of Solomon 7:1a we read, “How wonderful are your feet with shoes, O sovereign’s little girl!” Then again, Isaiah 52:7 and Romans 10:15b tell us “How excellent are the feet of them that lecture the good news of harmony, and bring happy news of beneficial things!” God is more keen on our feet being “shod with the planning of the good news of harmony” as opposed to our delightful shoes.
